Richardson & Starling Donates Timber for Sandpits at High Mill Primary School

We are pleased to announce that Richardson & Starling’s Glasgow branch has donated timber to High Mill Primary School in Carluke. The school needed materials to build sandpits for their outdoor play and learning area, and we were happy to help.

High Mill Primary reached out to us because they lacked the funding to purchase the necessary materials. The local Men’s Shed group volunteered to build the sandpits, but they needed wood to get started. By providing the required timber, we aimed to support the school’s efforts to enhance their outdoor facilities for the children.

Working closely with the school, we ensured the timely delivery of the timber. The Men’s Shed team will now use our donation to construct the sandpits, creating a new space for the children to enjoy.

At Richardson & Starling, we value our role in the community and are always ready to support local initiatives that benefit education and development. We are glad to have contributed to this project and look forward to seeing the children enjoy their new sandpits.
