What’s included in the survey and what does it cover
We aim to undertake a comprehensive inspection of the specific area of the property that you have requested. Our surveyor will endeavour to inspect the affected area and may note restrictions that prevent full access. Upon completion of the survey our surveyor will provide you with a verbal, emailed or written report, specification of treatment and a no obligation quotation
Will the survey fee be refunded if the works proceed?
This can depend upon the extent of the survey and the value of the work specified. You can discuss this with your surveyor at the time of survey or when you accept your quotation

We are not Structural Engineers; however we can attend to structural movement in masonry, problems associated with defective wall ties, repairs to concrete and decayed structural and non-structural timbers

In addition to our long term guarantees for repair and treatment that we undertake in your property, we offer independent insurance backed guarantee through QANW

The length of the survey or works we undertake fully depend upon the type of survey or works in your property.
How do we prepare for the survey or work in our property?
Our surveyor will bring the tools he requires to undertake the survey, although we may need additional access equipment if the area is difficult to access. Our work normally involves disturbing the fabric of your property, which may mean that we require to arrange an asbestos survey of the areas where we are working. The work usually creates dust, so it is important to clear any dust sensitive items including furniture, floorcoverings and equipment from the areas where we will be working
